Jennifer Tomlin, MA

Jennifer Tomlin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Russell Sage College, summa cum laude, in 2004. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School in May, 2010. She is the recipient of the Sage Colleges outstanding student in Graduate Psychology for 2010, as well the Helen C. Wheeler Memorial Award for Counseling.

Jennifer completed both an internship and an externship at Samaritan Counseling Center in 2009/2010, working in collaboration with CNY Fertility Clinic and Samaritan. She has also worked in collaboration on projects with the Troy YMCA, Rensselaer County Jail, and the Sage Colleges Student Resource Center.

As a resident psychotherapist, she works with individuals, couples and families and continues to explore several areas of interest, including anxiety disorders, domestic violence, the needs of returning veterans and their families, family dynamics and the impact of interpersonal connection.

Jennifer is an active member of New York Mental Health Counselor’s Association.
