The pre-marital assessment process consists of 3 one hour meetings with a Marriage and Family Therapist and the couple. During that time the therapist will explore your individual family of origin experiences, your relationship history, your plans for the future and many other aspects that can affect married life. After the three meetings, you will receive a report that outlines strengths, weaknesses, and potential pitfalls that are possible given your unique set of circumstances. The purpose of the assessment is to raise the awareness of the couple to circumstances that could arise so they can be resolved quickly.
This service is not covered by insurance. The cost is $300.
