Internships and Residencies

Our internship program is for second-year Master’s level students committed to learning how to integrate theory and practice while completing their graduate education in marriage and family therapy, social work, mental health counseling, or clinical psychology. Interns at Samaritan will gain experience providing psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, couples, and groups under the the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
The residency program provides recent graduates with opportunities to develop clinical skills under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. The program is designed with an emphasis on intensive supervision and a firm grounding in theory as a means of ensuring the development of clinical skill. For more information about professional development and training opportunities, contact Erin Belanger, Training Director at (518) 374-3514 ext. 407.
